Clerk in 1921.The obelisk, with an instep around the half-way mark, stands upon a square, pedimented stone plinth with a three-tiered stepped base, standing within a metal fenced, gravel square. The front face of the plinth bears the general commemoration to the 65 men of the parish who gave their lives during WW1, whilst on the lower plinth there is the commemoration to WW2. The names of the fallen from WW1 begin on the left face, continue on the rear face and end on the right face, in alphabetical order of surname, giving rank, first name, other initials, surname, decorations where applicable, and unit. The names of the 11 men who fell during WW2 and listed, alphabetically, starting on the bottom left face of the base, and ending on the right face, again listing rank, first name, surname and unit. One man who died in Aden is listed alone on the rear base.
