About the memorial: A tablet for WW1 - black lettering on white stone. Decorative border in brown marbled stone with blue and gold patterns - maltese crosses at each corner and swirls and dots on each side. Windows Inscribed - To the glory of God and the immortal memory of the men of this parish who gave their lives for their God, King and Country in the great War 1914-18, these windows are dedicated: Brass plaque with 21 names from the 1939-45 conflict.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.

This Window & Tablet were erected by Public Subscription In Memory of the Men of this Parish who gave their Lives in The Great War 1914-1918 [then the list of names] The Vicarage was used during the period of war as a convalescent home during which time 562 men received treatment, the whole cost being paid by E.G. Lancaster Esq. Keresforth Hall and Patron of this living.
