About the memorial: This Grade II listed memorial is an Ancaster stone triumphal arch, the gateway to Northolme cemetery. It stands on Spilsby Road in Wainfleet All Saints, a port and market town in eastern Lincolnshire. The archway is constructed of limestone and has four pillars on the front with decorated capitals, between which are marble plaques inscribed with the names of the fallen of World War I. The dates 1914 and 1918 are carved in low relief in the spandrels on the front of the memorial. The large stone block at the top of the memorial is carved with a dedication. There are iron gates across the gateway and a plaque commemorating the fallen of World War II is hung within the arch.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

You can save your Pre-application enquiry form as you go along. Once submitted War Memorials Trust will respond.
