About the memorial: Simple stone cross in a rough stone enclosure to the men of Bosham. The cross was built by ex-servicemen to their comrades who fell in the First World War; later plaques added following the Second World War.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

You can save your Pre-application enquiry form as you go along. Once submitted War Memorials Trust will respond.

The inscriptions and names are on different panels: the first reads Built By Their Comrades/ To The Men Of Bosham/ Who Died For England/ (Names)/ 1914-1918. Below that is a plaque which reads '1939-1945' followed by three plaques of names. The plaque on the centre of the front wall reads 'When Memory/ Falls Forgotten/ Remembrance/ Shall Remain'. Another small plaque reads 'This Memorial Has Been/ Erected By The Voluntary Work/ Of The Ex-Servicemen Of/ Bosham. The Materials Of/ Construction Have Been/ Presented By Residents/ 1922.'
