About the memorial: The memorial tablet to Cpl. James Doble who fell at the battle of Inkermann in the Crimea, is found in the parish church in the village of Churchstanton, which lies on the Somerset-Devon border. The memorial is made of a rectangular piece of white marble with the top rising to a low Gothic arch. It has incised letters which are painted red and black and a black painted surround.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
