About the memorial: War memorial. 1923. Ashlar and polished Cornish granite. Square plinth of 2 steps. Coved and rebated square base. To east, bronze tablet with wreath. Above, dedicatory inscription. Other sides have bronze paques with lists of names .Above, tapered shaft with covered and repeated foot. 4 crosses formed in the head. Bronze sword to east. Inscribed on the four sides 'France… Belgium.. Gallipoli… Italy
