In grateful remembrance of the men connected with this parish who died fro freedom and honour in the Great War 1914-1918 Their names liveth for evermore ALCOCK Wilfred Cecil, Cadet 74783, Royal Flying Corps died 24th November 1917. he was the son of Frederick of Caxton House, King Street, Knutsford, Cheshire. He is at rest in Oak Grove Cemetery, New Bedford, Massachusetts, United States of America ---------- ALLEN William Frederick of Oak Legh, Mobberley Road, Knutsford, Cheshire 2nd Lieutenant 3rd East Lancashire Regiment died the 9th October 1917 in Belgium aged 24. He was the son of Frederica Fanny Crofton, formerly Allen of The Red House, Thelwall, Warrington. He was born in Bermuda and his father was called William. His parents were married at Medway, Kent in 1891. He is at rest in Tyne Cot Cemetery, Belgium ---------------- BAIRD Harry Seymour, Sergeant 230535, 10th King's Shropshire Light Infantry died 22nd July 1917.
