About the memorial: Situated on the north side of the Church of St. Constantine.A granite, celtic wheel cross with ornately carved pillar, standing upon a square plinth on a square base. The front face contains the general commemoration for WW1, and on each of the left and right faces are listed 10 names, and a further 2 on the reverse face, 22 in total. The names are listed alphabetically by surname, with each man's details including rank, first names, surname, any decorations and unit. On the front of the square base are listed the names of 14 men who died in WW2. The names are listed and detailed as for those of WW1 above.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
