About the memorial: This timber war memorial with Gothic details was relocated from the nearby church of St James the Less following the bombing of the church in WWII. The church community used the present school building as a temporary church until its church was rebuilt. Two hundred and ninety names are recorded in three upper panels; six smaller panels include insignia for Navy, Infantry, Cavalry, RAMC, Artillery, and RAF

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
