About the memorial: The memorial is set at a junction of Whalley Road & Plane tree Road. Unveiled on 11th August 1923. The memorial is the Clock Tower. Inscription and names are on panels on the sides of the tower. The clock tower is locally listed (ref/no. 16 - Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council).
