About the memorial: Cross dedicated to those from Evanton who lost their lives during the First and Second World War. The memorial is located on a raised platform accessed by a set of steps. It takes the form of a wheel cross with Celtic decoration surmounted on a stone plinth with granite tablets for inscriptions. There is also a seat with a stainless steel plaque for the 50th anniversary of VE Day.
