About the memorial: High on the north wall of the nave, a white marble memorial tablet, commemorating members of the Hingeston family, including the son, William Henry Hingestion, Major, 58th Regimwnt, who died at Laing's Nek, Natal, on 26 January, 1881.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

ALSO OF JOHN THEIR SON WHO DIED AT SALISBURY NOVEMBER 7TH 1875, AGED 39 YEARS. ALSO OF WILLIAM HENRY THEIR SON MAJOR 58TH REGT. WHO DIED 29TH JANUARY 1881, OF WOUNDS RECEIVED IN ACTION AT LAING'S NEK, NATAL, AGED 42 YEARS.
