About the memorial: A mounted rectangular metal plaque noting that X-Ray equipment was given in memory of Lieutenant Rupert Price Hallowes by the Port Talbot District Boy Scout Association. Hallowes is remembered on several memorials and was a Scoutmaster in Port Tablot. The current hospital was opened in 2003. The stained glass windows with 'RH' and 'VC' is located below the plaque as well as information, however as it is in a 'staff only area' (2022) further information is required regarding the origin and memorial status of the windows.

THE X-RAY APPARATUS IN THIS ROOM WAS PRESENTED TO THE HOSPITAL BY THE PORT TALBOT DISTRICT BOY SCOUT ASSOCIATION TO THE MEMORY OF THE LATE LIEUTENANT RUPERT PRICE HALLOWES. V.C. M.C. WHO FOR MANY YEARS WAS DIS-TRICT SECRETARY TO THE LOCAL BOY SCOUT MOVEMENT. APRIL 1917.
