About the memorial: An addition to a white marble gravestone on a family grave comprising a Latin cross on a square three-stepped base accompanied by rectangular kerbstones. The cross has a design in relief in a roundel at the centre and the steps of the base have bevelled tops. The inlaid inscription is in mixed styles of lettering on three faces of the base and on the upper face of the kerb. Grave No 11890, east of the chapel, up the hill towards the woodland. CWGC say that he was born at Holbrook
