About the memorial: A white marble headstone and base on a family grave. The headstone is in the style of a scroll unfurled over a wall which has sprays of flowers on it. The inlaid inscription is in upright capital lettering. It is in the north western quadrant of the Cemetery. According to CWGC he was born at Ockbrook where he is commemorated on WMO/70207.
