About the memorial: A framed and glazed roll of honour with a royal crown at the head and a thin ruled red border with small crosses at each corner. The inscription was in red and black calligraphy in different styles of lettering within a thin black frame. The memorial was inside, in the nave, at the west end of the south arcade. The memorial did not state which conflict(s) it related to, but was probably just WW1.
