About the memorial: An addition to a white marble headstone on a family grave. The headstone has a shallow corniced triangular arch top with a Christograph within a spray of foliage in relief at the head and bears the inlaid inscription in upright capital block lettering. It surmounts an oblong limestone base with bevelled top. It is in the old part of the churchyard southwest of the church towards the boundary wall with the vicarage.
