Comments:
The front plinth inscription would have been obscured by a tied-on wreath anyway, but it seemed to be almost completely worn away. The names on the left of the plinth were just about discernible. The inscription and names have been transcribed and are on a Roll of Honour in the narthex of the church. See WMO 300307. The stonework is heavily weathered and infested with lichen but doesn't look out of place in its setting.
