Comments:
It is difficult to read a number of names for World War One, especially on the second of the three plinth sections. The Imperial War Museum website provides names and from that I can say that the names of Harry Franklin, Albert Gibson, Charles Gregory, Arthur Hornsby, Edward Hornsby, Arthur Joyce and Thomas Monk are totally illegible. The first plinth section is manageable and the third section does seem to have been recut and is much better shape. Photos will be sent to War Memorials Trust Anthony Bradbury 15 April 2022
