Comments:
The memorial is only just in fair condition, bordering on poor. There is moss and lichen around the base of the octagonal column, and upon the cross itself at the top. The general inscription on the three faces of the upper base step are onscured by dirt and lichen, and the names are weathered. The flat surfaces of the stepped base have suffered renewed damage with pieces missing.
