Comments:
The memorial is in need of cleaning and has a number of open joints and cracks requiring repair. The lead lettering has deteriorated, especially on the four WWII recumbent stones. The kerb surrounding the memorial is breaking up and requires complete replacement. Otherwise the memorial is in good condition. A detailed condition survey has been commissioned by an accredited building conservation surveyor to enable preparation of a specification of remedial works to restore the memorial to good condition prior to Remembrance Sunday 2018.
