Comments:
The memorial seems structurally sound. The plinth with the stone plaques and names/inscriptions is in very good condition. The only defect (which led to my 'fair' condition assessment) is that on the shaft of the cross some plaserwork has fallen away quite badly on one side - as shown in a photo taken today and sent to WMT. That plasterwork does need attention. Otherwise this is a good example of a fine village/small town memorial.
