Comments:
Inscriptions are in need of attention. On one face there is spalling of the masonry, though not affectioing the names. On another face the black paint in the names has been lost. The random stone paving in front of the memorial (close to the edge of the traffic island) is in a bad condition and is such that it is hazardous to people crossing over the busy road and they could stumble on this loose paving and potentially fall into vehicles. It is a very busy traffic island so every effort to afford safe access for people viewing the memorial is paramount.
