Comments:
Arrived at the cemetery at 16:00 – closes at 15:30! Therefore, all observations and photographs through the railings from the road. The Memorial is a standard CWGC Cross of Sacrifice and appears to be maintained to CWGC standards – some very slight discolouration of the stonework from the weather, but nothing to be concerned about. All pointing appears in good order. Inscriptions could not be seen from our vantage point but give the general condition visible, and that is CWGC maintained and owned, there is no reason to think there would be any problem with the inscriptions.
