Comments:
The yard the memorial is in is protected by a very high, heavy duty metal fence so no public access is possible. By chance I saw the caretaker when passing, who refused point blank to let me take close up close up images or let me get anywhere near as "they" [the music hall owners] will only allow people attending an event there to do so- this "isn't a Church now". There is no external sign to state when such events are, and no web presence that I can trace. From what I could see the lettering looks to be extremely worn and hard to read. This is a case which needs a formal WMT approach to obtain access or images and then consider a response. I have not met with such hostility over an external public memorial before. At the end of the day I was merely passing, with limited time and no wish for further engagement.
