This War Memorial was steam cleaned on 4th April 2019 on Niton and Whitwell Parish Council's instruction and in accordance with the method statement issued by the War Memorials Trust. The work has significantly improved both the general appearance of the Memorial and the legibility of the lettering. Further work to improve definition of the lettering will be considered in due course.
