Grant Pre-application provided to Trust along with Photo evidence attached below. Comments received back from the Trust following Grant Pre-application which indicates possible poor condition: Replacement of damaged roof tiles on a like-for-like basis, including coursing · Careful removal of defective/loose mortar from construction joints, lower ridge and archway · Re-pointing of construction joints, lower ridge and archway with an appropriate lime mortar · As the crack is in the archway, it would be prudent to discuss with contractors the cause and if the memorial is currently structurally sound e.g. is the crack historic settlement Hand cleaning of memorial plaques using water and natural bristle brushes · Following cleaning of the memorial plaques, selective sharpening and deepening of eroded letters may be required to improve legibility
