Comments:
Overall condition of site is good but there is a significant amount of lime mortar missing from construction joints of the main memorial and stonework, especially to the rear is crumbling in some areas; stonework corrosion appears to be caused by old pointing repairs being carried out using hard cementitious mortar. WMT visited site 11/11/22 and are in discussion with custodians concerning repairs.
