Comments:
Work has just been completed to replace broken slabs around base of memorial. All loose and open joints on memorial have been repointed with approved lime mortar. Bronze plaques have been removed and lightly cleaned with damaged plaques straightened. Plaques have been re-fixed with non-ferrous screws and domed caps. Area surrounding memorial is well kept with rose gardens and shrubs.
