Comments:
The WW1 names on the shaft are legible, but would benefit from a good clean, with specialised equipment given the friable nature of the local sandstone. Structurally the cross is sound. The WW2 names on the retaining wall below are eroded/weathered but just legible. Given the nature of the sandstone it is unlikely they could be recut. Probably medium term replacement with a plaque is the solution. It should be borne in mind they are all on plaques inside the adjacent Priory Church, which also contains copious research files about the men of both wars, which content is also on the Villlage website. The deterioration is broadly stable and has not changed significantly between 2012 and 2020.
