On 11th November 2018, Just Rifles led the London Fitzrovia area in a ceremony of remembrance at the newly restored Rangers memorial. The moving ceremony attracted a large crowd, both from the American International Church, and the wider community. The inagural ceremony for the restored memorial was particularly poignant as it co-incided with the centenary, commemorating 100 years since the WWI Armistace. The memorial is located Outside the Eisenhower Centre on Chenies Street, and is engraved with names of fallen soldiers from the first world war. The inscription reads on the front: “The Rangers 12th County of London Regt. 1914 - 1919 Remember with gratitude the true and faithful men who in the Great War went forth for God and the right. - The memory of those who returned not again is hereby perpetuated to be honoured for evermore”.
