This memorial’s condition was discussed by War Memorials Trust conservation team and it was felt that Fair was appropriate description of the condition accepting that whilst the definition of the sculpture is not as sharp as when new, the surface appears stable and the original design of the memorial is still very much evident. The condition of the stone sculpture is consistent with the age of the memorial and it seems from images that no intervention is necessary at this time.
