Comments:
Sculpture ("Tommy"): a recent condition survey by Spencer Hall Historic Building Conservation noted that while some detail has been lost to the face it is fairing reasonably well considering its age. It is legible as a soldier and not at risk of collapse. Recommendations included cleaning, reinstatement of lost or failing joints and potential sympathetic reinstatement of the letting. Additionally, regular inspections and maintenance was recommended. Replacement is not considered appropriate given its current Good to Fair condition and listed nature.
