The graffiti has been cleaned off, and new temporary barriers installed on the perimeters, plus clearly very new Chainlink fencing inside those barriers (so low that it does nothing useful). The memorial is structurally sound. However the best way to phrase it is to say that, looking at the stonework, if I was unaware there had been the graffiti, I would know that something had happened as the stonework (although clean) is looking slightly striated, a bit distressed. This does not really show up due to the limits of my camera.
