WMT provided a Grant towards works in 2016. The Grant supported works to replace the failed floodlighting, replacement of the disabled access footpath, the re-grading of a steep section of footpath (south of site), inserting steps at the bottom section. In addition, the corroded handrails were replaced on a like for like basis and a new handrail matching the existing installed to the section of footpath which has been re-graded with steps. The memorial itself is stable and legibility of inscriptions Good
