Comments:
Memorial was found to be in a poor condition with the stonework stained from weathering and lichen. There are gaps in the stonework of the base due to mortar missing from between the stone blocks. Cement/mortar is missing from the stone slab paving around the memorial resulting in weeds growing in the cracks. There are loose paving slabs with some sections of paving missing. The corner of the base nearest to the gates has loose stones resulting in them becoming detached.
