I visited this memorial in 2013 just after it had been cleaned (see original images). Now, just four years later, the base in covered with lichen growth which has completely obscured the inscriptions on the sides and rear faces of the plinth. The front face can still be read. The structure is sound, and would otherwise be considered in fair condition. Visited on 1 Seprember, 2017
