"Fully refurbished, 2014-2016 as part of Queens Park’s HLF Restoration programme. Listed building consent and work undertaken to restore the monument, statue and 2 x lions, to there original condition, using historically appropriate materials and techniques. Including the removal of the non-original flower bed, this exposed the original beams also cleaned and refurbished, and surround chains and fixings renewed."
