As the first phase of a conservation project this memorial has undergone cleaning, repointing and repainting of the names and inscriptions. The WW2 Garden of remembrance has also been cleaned and the pathways have been improved. Funded by grants and donations, the work was completed in conjunction with War Memorials Trust.
