WMT received a report that the original WW1 memorial plaque was for sale via thesaleroom for Bolton Auction Rooms (September 2022). As the charity believes war memorials should not be sold it has reached out to the seller to offer our help with preserving our war memorial heritage, see the Comments tab for further information.
