Comments:
Stonework has cracked and scaled vertically in places, and it is dirty in places, particularly the white panels. Some of the lettering has become hard to read. Mere Town Council would like to carry out some cleaning and restoration of the War Memorial and have applied to WMT for a grant towards this work, and we hope the work can be carried out during 2018.
