Comments:
Since the photograph taken in 2016 the entire square base has been surrounded by a thin pebbled area with a modest curved concrete surround. Some oblong stone plant boxes, with attractive plants within, also front the memorial. The only lettering MCMXIV/ MCMXIX remains legible from close quarters. The memorial is largely in a shaded area and has attracted rather too much soiling and moss so it could do with a clean. It is not now in the prisine condition shown in the 2016 photograph. It was listed as Grade II in 2019 Photos will be posted via War Memorials Trust. Anthony Bradbury. .
