New Soldier Sculpture added to the plinth and unveiled Saturday 24th March 2018 by sculptor, Ray Lonsdale. The new one is entitled "Not much t ask" and it replaces a marble soldier that went missing in the 1970s. The rest of the memorial has had a clean and a new paved area placed around it.
