Comments:
The clock (which is a War Memorial) is currently not working. A Smith of Derby report dated 2/09/2024 states that: We do need to attend site and remove the clock hands (from roped access) this requires two men to comply with H&S. Once removed we will withdraw the dialworks and bring to our works – in our works we will carry out the repairs to the counter minute wheel and the hour pipe as these have worn due to the dust creating a grinding paste.
