Comments:
the condition of the memorial is somewhere between fair and certain parts poor. the memorial is constructed of soft white sandstone. it sits on a base which has a front wall. the wall is in urgent need of re-pointing with lime mortar and a few of the stones need to be replaced. the memorial itself is again in urgent need of re-pointing. the cross has a crack which needs to be stabilised with a steel rod before the weather causes more damage.. the algae needs to be removed and the stone weatherproofed.
