The sandstone cross is in good general condition, there are no discernible structural issues, apart from missing mortar lines The surface of the sandstone is covered with a build-up of biological material. The bronze plaques are dry of wax, and are beginning to discolour with copper corrosion. There are areas of dark sulphation on the upper areas of the cross.
