The inscription is all lead lettering, not Wooden. The letter N is still missing. The foundation masonery is deteriorating, the joints between the Granite Blocks are growing weeds as the pointing is substantially missing. I have requested Exeter City to Carry out repairs, but this request has been declined. The City Council only cut the Grass occasionally. The Garden is maintained by volunteers. It may be possible to raise funds by Public appeal
