Comments:
The memorial was erected over 100 years ago and therefore shows some signs of weathering. The names are legible however the plaques may require a protective wax to stop copper sulphate leaching into the stone. The boundary railings require maintenance as paint has failed in some areas and they are beginning to rust. The clock was showing the correct time but some rust was evident on the Roman numeral metalwork. Raised Welsh lettering above the central bronze panel has completed eroded and could be reinstated using lime consolidant. Some areas of missing pointing require reinstatement as well as part of the cornice.
