Friends of Turriff Cemetery, in conjunction with Royal British Legion Turriff Branch, have submitted an application for funding to War Memorials Trust to have the memorial restored to a higher standard. Aberdeenshire Council have given their permission for this application. The WW2 memorial has now been professionally cleaned and a stone mason is due to start on the arch next month (Nov 19).
