Comments:
Our memorial has a lot of moss or lichen on it. The area around it is untidy. There ahs bee restoration being done to the church for the last couple of years, still not completed. A skip is regularly placed very close to the memorial along with large sand bags. This has meant that people have begun to leave rubbish in this area. It is owned by the Parish Council and was last cleaned in 2019. I have taken over responsibility and care of the memorial. I cannot find any evidence that a complete survey and report has even been carried out. Do you think this would be a wise thing to do? I think if the report also included what cleaning could be carried out by volunteers and what needs specialist input and also how to carry out cleaning and what with, this would be very helpful moving forward. Any advice would be gratefully received. Linda White (Parish Councillor) Email - linda.white678@gmail.com
